What did you think of the ending? Was there a better way to end it instead of Mariam and Marta stopping and staring at each other?

Hi Samantha,
Marsha here, author of Nobody's Child. Just to let you know, there will be a sequel to Nobody's Child. The reason I ended it where I did was because I wanted readers to know that Marta, Mariam and Kevork were all safe, but not quite out of the woods. One of my pet peeves are novels that end 40 pages after they should. I believe a novel should be a page-turner up to the last page. Also, I had to be true to historical events. There's alot that happens in the next five years .... |

Hi Hadi!
It was great to see you and everyone else at the Red Maple ceremony today! Just got home a couple of minutes ago. I'm looking forward to writing the sequel this summer. Marsha |

Dear Bluecat,
There will be a sequel. It will be called Somebody's Daughter. Have you read The Hunger? That novel gives you the scoop on Marta's "situation" at the end of Nobody's Child. Marsha |
